Season 3 for LARC Women brings another trophy

The Los Angeles Rugby Club capped off an outstanding season with a 10–1 record and another SCRFU Division II Championship trophy, continuing the club’s tradition of excellence on the field.

LARC Women powered through the postseason with dominant performances, defeating the Fullerton Wolfpack 76–5 in the SCRFU Semi-Finals before traveling to San Diego for the championship match. In the SCRFU Final, Los Angeles delivered another commanding performance, defeating the Pasadena Royals 54–17 to secure the title.

The team’s success earned them a place in the Pacific Super Regionals in Henderson, NV, where their season ultimately came to an end after a hard-fought first-round matchup against the Las Vegas Rugby Team. While the postseason run concluded there, the year was marked by tremendous growth, resilience, and success for the players, coaches, and supporters who made the season possible.

With another championship trophy added to the club’s history, LARC now turns its focus toward building on this momentum for the seasons ahead.

Following an undefeated 7–0 regular season, the LARC Women advanced to the SCRFU Division II playoffs with strong momentum. The team secured a 33–17 semifinal victory over San Luis Obispo Women’s Rugby Club to earn a place in the SCRFU Division II Final.

In a competitive championship match against the Ventura Outlaws, the Women of LARC delivered another impressive performance, emerging victorious with a 38–25 win to capture the SCRFU Division II title.
